OSF HealthCare’s Cancer Institute seeks an experienced professional to provide outpatient care, perform comprehensive hereditary cancer risk assessments, order and interpret genetic testing, and collaborate with physicians to develop personalized screening and treatment plans.

You’ll educate patients and families about hereditary cancer syndromes, participate in tumor boards and specialty programs, and provide high‑quality, evidence‑based oncology care.

Formación

• Licensed to provide advanced practice nursing services in Illinois or physician assistant services.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• BLS/ACLS Certified.
• Must be eligible to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Perform outpatient care and comprehensive evaluations for hereditary cancer risk.
• Order, interpret, and communicate genetic testing results and other diagnostics to guide patient care and recommendations.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop personalized screening, surveillance, prevention, and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding hereditary cancer syndromes, genetic testing options, risk-reduction strategies, and screening guidelines.
• Participate in oncology and genetics clinic, multidisciplinary conferences, and tumor boards.
• Provide counseling and follow-up care for patients identified as high risk for hereditary cancers.
• Coordinate referrals and care with other specialties to support comprehensive patient management.
• Support quality, safety, and patient access initiatives while delivering compassionate, evidence-based oncology care.
• 8-hour shifts, core hours 8am – 4:30pm, 40 hours per week.

Educación

Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant license (Illinois)
