Job summary

OSF HealthCare's Cancer Institute in Peoria, IL seeks a clinician to perform outpatient evaluations for hereditary cancer risk, order and interpret genetic tests, and collaborate with physicians to implement personalized screening and prevention plans.

You will educate patients and families about hereditary cancer syndromes, participate in oncology and genetics clinics, tumor boards, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care with strong emphasis on access and safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed to provide APN or PA services in Illinois.
• BLS/ACLS certified.
• Eligible to participate in Medicare/Medicaid programs.
• Malpractice coverage as required by OSF.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient care and hereditary cancer risk evaluations.
• Order, interpret, and communicate genetic testing results.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop screening and prevention plans.
• Educate patients and families about hereditary cancer syndromes and guidelines.
• Participate in oncology/genetics clinics and tumor boards.
• Provide counseling and follow-up for high-risk patients.
• Coordinate referrals with other specialties.
• Support quality, safety, and patient access initiatives.
