Job summary

VM West, LLC seeks a Herbicide Program Manager and Herbicide Qualified Supervisor to oversee daily herbicide operations, training crews, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with federal, state, and customer requirements.

You will manage records, coordinate planning, perform pre-job briefings, calibrate equipment, and mentor staff while communicating with customers and landowners. Travel to sites as required and lead continuous improvement across programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of herbicide application and IVM experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Agronomy, or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise herbicide crews per IVM principles.
• Maintain and verify pesticide records and regulatory paperwork.
• Ensure label compliance, SDS use, and treatment prescriptions.
• Plan pre-job activities and daily briefings.
• Train and mentor field staff.
