Job description

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an H/F Technician.

The primary responsibilities include:

1. Have an in-depth knowledge of common pesticides and insecticides, their uses and the application processes.
2. Continue training on common pest identification, treatment, and diseases.
3. Ensure that application processes and all IPM plans comply with local, state, and federal pesticide application laws and regulations.
4. Apply pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and/or fertilizers on specified areas.
5. Closely follow label directions on how to prepare and apply pesticides.
6. Identify necessary PPE for pesticide application and properly operate and wear all personal protective equipment (PPE).
7. Maintain and operate application equipment.
8. Explain to customer(s) the service that is being conducted during each visit, answering any questions about the service before or afterwards.
9. Maintain a safe and orderly workspace and work vehicle for mixing chemicals and storing equipment.
10. Maintain accurate and detailed pesticide application records.

Work sites can be indoors or outdoors, depending on the project. Unlike many other companies, we do snow removal, holiday decor, and training to help keep you working through the winter.
