Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis seeks a research scientist to lead health outcomes (HO) evidence needs across Lilly’s portfolio. You will apply health economics, patient-reported outcomes, and real-world evidence to inform drug development and access decisions.

The role requires a PhD/MD or PharmD/MS with 3–5 years in HO research, strong communication, and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders globally. Remote-friendly with potential travel.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD with 3–5 years of experience in creating, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects.
• PharmD/MS with 3–5 years of experience in HO research strategy development and execution.
• Strong ability to translate complex scientific information for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive HO research strategy and plan for Lilly portfolio across therapeutic areas and geographies.
• Lead HO evidence planning and collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout development and commercialization.
• Develop and articulate Patient Focused Outcome, Real World Evidence, and economic value strategies for priority products.
• Disseminate HO findings through abstracts, posters, podium presentations, and manuscripts.
• Ensure projects meet timelines and budgets, coordinating with internal partners and external collaborators.
