Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis is seeking an HEOR research scientist to design and execute observational studies, support real-world evidence generation, and contribute to cost-effectiveness or budget impact modeling. You will influence decision making and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the portfolio.

The role requires advanced degree (PhD/MD or PharmD/MS) with 3–5 years of relevant experience, plus strong communication skills and global collaboration capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate (PhD, MD) with 3-5 years OR PharmD/MS degree with 3-5 years of experience in creating, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects.
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills enabling clear translation of complex scientific information.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate within and across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drives HO research strategy for compounds in Lilly portfolio across therapeutic areas.
  • Develops bold high-impact science for products to support HO evidence needs.
  • Leads HO evidence planning and implementation with cross-functional teams.
  • Delivers effective dissemination of HO information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintains awareness of developments in HO methodologies and disease states relevant to Lilly.
  • Manages HO projects to meet timelines, budget, and scope with collaborators.
