Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and lead safe nursing activities at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. You will collaborate with the care team, plan discharge, and teach patients and families across the lifespan.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care.
• Delegate, supervise and participate in safe nursing activities.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team, patient and family on discharge planning.
• Provide patient/family teaching.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and research.
• Maintain clinical competencies and BLS/ACLS/PALS as appropriate.
• Serve as role model/preceptor to new staff.
