About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital

In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope of Work

• Assist with prepping patients for procedures, applying ECG patches, obtaining vital signs, shaving patients' groins or other areas as necessary;
• assist with room turnover, sterile table set up, femoral arterial and venous line pulls, radial band removal, bed pans, feeding, and walking post procedure, assist with patient discharge.
• Assists in the transfer of patients from stretcher and wheelchair to procedure table while maintaining the safety and patency of patient IV's, catheters, and tubes.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Previous experience, certification (CNA), or enrollment in a nursing school is a preferred qualification.
• Prior Nursing Assistant experience. Preferred
• Ability to interact well with patients and take vital signs Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Required Upon Hire Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Required
