Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Littleton seeks a Hemodialysis RN to deliver specialized in-patient care in our dialysis suite. You will assess patients, plan individualized care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes and quality of life.

We value compassionate care, ongoing education, and a supportive environment. Qualified candidates have current RN licensure, CPR, ACLS within 1 year, and at least 6 months dialysis nursing experience; CRRN is preferred

Qualifications

• Current RN licensures as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred (If you‘re without it, we can help you obtain it).
• 6 months dialysis nursing experience required.
• 1 year of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
• Supervising care and treatments, conducting patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Educating nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, hemodialysis equipment, and hemodialysis standards of care.
