The University of Washington Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology is seeking two full-time ARNPs or PAs at the rank of Teaching Associate. These roles will be deployed at UWMC and Fred Hutch Cancer Center at Northwest Hospital and provide hematologic/oncologic evaluation and management of consulted patients.

The selected providers will round on inpatients, report to the consulting physician, manage treatment side effects, perform procedures within scope, and collaborate

Competenze

• Two years ARNP/PA-C experience in hematology/oncology preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Washington state licensure and DEA registration at credentialing time.

Mansioni

• Rounds on all consulted Northwest Hospital inpatients.
• Reports off to consulting physician prior to and during daily rounds.
• Performs complex H&P and manages treatment side effects.
• Performs procedures within licensure and scope of practice.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely care.
• Participates in cancer clinical research and education.
