Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA seeks an ARNP/PA-C to provide evaluation and medical management for Heme/Heme Malignancy patients, follow patients during chemotherapy, and coordinate care with the treatment team. Responsibilities include managing on-treatment and post-treatment side effects, performing procedures, educating patients and caregivers, and participating in cancer clinical research.

Requires Master’s degree, PA/NP certification, WA license, DEA, and ACLS within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program awarding a Master’s degree.
• Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Washington.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex and problem-focused H&P’s.
• Evaluates and manages on-treatment and post-treatment side effects and surveillance.
• Performs procedures within scope of practice and credentialing.
• Collaborates with treatment team to coordinate care and ensure safe, effective treatment.
• Participates in cancer clinical research and education for patients and caregivers.
• Communicates effectively with inpatient and outpatient teams.
