Job summary

Albany Med Health System is seeking a seventh AP/CP board-certified, Hematopathology fellowship-trained pathologist to join our expanding Division of Hematopathology in Albany, NY.

The role includes hematopathology sign-out (bone marrow, tissue, blood/CSF on a rotating basis), shared hematopathology call, and an emphasis on academic activities such as sign-out with fellows, residents, and medical students, plus translational research opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hematopathology expertise with AP/CP board certification and fellowship training.
• Experience sign-out in hematopathology focus areas such as bone marrow, tissue, and CSF.
• Strong teaching and clinical research interest preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hematopathology sign-out on a rotating basis (bone marrow, tissue, blood/CSF).
• Shared hematopathology call with colleagues.
• Engage in didactic lectures, journal clubs, and resident teaching.
• Support translational research opportunities.
