Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO seeks a Pharmacist Clinical Specialist for the General Hematology Clinic to coordinate pharmaceutical care for patients with benign hematologic disorders.

You will collaborate with hematology providers, manage disease- and drug-specific therapies, provide education to patients and caregivers, and support safety, efficacy, and cost-effective care in a fast-paced oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• State licensure as a Pharmacist.
• Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages evidence-based medication therapy for benign hematologic disorders.
• Provides comprehensive medication management and monitoring for disease- and drug-specific therapies.
• Identifies high-risk patients and implements interventions to optimize outcomes.
• Educates patients and caregivers on medications, plans, and adverse-effect management.
• Coordinates patient care with providers and interdisciplinary team.
• Mentors pharmacy staff and learners in clinical expertise.
