WG Bill Hefner VA Medical Center seeks a Hematology and Oncology physician to provide expert care for veterans in inpatient and outpatient settings. The physician will share attending call duties with specialists, round with residents and students, and participate in quality initiatives and committees to enhance patient care.

You will lead clinical assessments, manage treatment plans, and engage in education and research activities within the Medicine Service.

Qualificações

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the United States
• Board eligible/board certified in Hematology and Oncology
• Proficient in English language communication

Responsabilidades

• Provide consultation in Hematology and Oncology for inpatients and outpatients
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Lead and supervise medical students and residents
• Participate in quality improvement and multidisciplinary teams
• Perform rounds with teams and share call responsibilities as needed
