Qualifications

• US citizenship required unless exemptions apply under VA policy
• MD or equivalent in allopathic/osteopathic medicine
• License to practice medicine in US state/territory/DC
• Residency in a VA-approved core specialty leading to eligibility for board certification
• Approved residencies by ACGME/AOA or equivalent training
• Non-US residency with verified US practice experience may be acceptable
• Scope of practice allows supervised restricted duties when applicable
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills
• CME/teaching requirements may apply for faculty appointments

Responsibilities

• Provide hematology/oncology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Maintain professional and administrative knowledge to deliver high-quality care
• Supervise fellows and residents; participate in teaching
• Ensure credentialing and privileging compliance
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately
• Contribute to program and clinical governance as needed
