Job description

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Hematology Oncology
Location: MN
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 7 days per week, including weekends; Inpatient coverage only (including weekends and overnights).
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
End Date: Minimum of nine months

Position Details:

• Patient Population: Adult
• Setting: Inpatient coverage only
• Responsibilities:
  • Management of VAD/CV Catheters
  • Assessment of port integrity
  • Chemotherapy - Intrathecal
• Required Procedures:
  • Management of VAD/CV Catheters
  • Intrathecal Chemotherapy
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 10+
• Call Schedule: 5 PM to 8 AM (low call volume, averaging 1-2 calls per night).
• Trauma Level: Level I
• EMR System: Epic
