- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 4 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 17 max patients per shift. The facility is seeking coverage one week per month from July through December, with additional coverage needs as they arise. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 24-hour weekend call and some weekday call shared with employed providers. Call typically involves answering RN questions related to patient inquiries, same-day chemotherapy patients, and occasional ED consults (minimal). The provider will see an average of 17 patients, supported by one medical assistant, several RNs, and pharmacy staff who handle educational starts for chemotherapy. The practice is housed in the same building as radiation oncology.
