Job Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine (Hematology and Oncology)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient care for patients with hematology and oncology needs.
• Conduct consultations and respond to questions from RNs regarding patient care.
• Manage care for an average of 17 patient encounters per shift.
• Participate in a 24-hour weekend call rotation, sharing responsibilities with employed providers.
• Collaborate with medical assistants and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients about chemotherapy and manage treatment plans.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) system Mosiaq for patient documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine specializing in Hematology and Oncology.
• Fellowship training in a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active provider license preferred; temporary privileges are available.
• Current board certification or eligibility is required.
