Job Summary

Join a dynamic team at a prestigious medical center in Hartford, Connecticut, as a locum Hematology/Oncology physician. This facility boasts a collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on patient care, including inpatient consults and outpatient services. The practice consists of 10 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers, ensuring a supportive and well-rounded approach to treatment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality care in Hematology and Oncology, focusing on adult and geriatric populations.
2. Manage patient consultations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
3. Adhere to a schedule of 3 clinic days per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), with occasional weekend and night calls.
4. Participate in a call schedule with minimal weekend (2-3 times per year) and night responsibilities (1 night in 10).
5. Utilize the Epic electronic medical record system for patient documentation and care management.
6. Work within a Level I Trauma center, ensuring comprehensive support for complex cases.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology - REQUIRED
• Connecticut medical license in hand at the time of application - REQUIRED
• Local candidates preferred; no travel arrangements will be made.
• Conversion rate cap of 25k - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements

• Current and valid Connecticut medical license.
• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology.
