• Active Texas or IMLC license is necessary.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Primarily outpatient with some inpatient consults
• Fellows run their own panels - strong academic flavor
• APP, RN, and MA support embedded in
  • EPIC System with AI Scribe (DAX Copilot & Ambient AI): Facility uses AI to auto-generate notes and charges from patient encounters, requiring only physician co-signature-saving valuable charting time

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 2 weeks per month
  • 8-5 coverage with patients seen 9-4:30
  • Potential to extend assignment

Procedures and Cases

• 60/40 Hem/Onc mix - mainly consultative care
• Bone marrow biopsies only; no transplant cases
• Leukemia and BMTs referred out
• 12 infusion chairs next to clinic exam rooms

Requirements

• BC in Hematology/Oncology with ACLS/BLS
• Texas or IMLC license
