- Clinical Role:
- A fully comprehensive CoC-accredited, stand-alone regional cancer center is undergoing a complete renovation, including expansion of onsite lab and pharmacy, addition of nine new state-of-the-art exam rooms, eight infusion bays, and upgrades to linear accelerators and CT simulators.
- Clinic four days per week, one administrative day remotely, with a 1:4 inpatient call schedule.
- Patient mix is 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology, with common cases including breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancers.
- Care team model includes one dedicated RN and one MA per physician, along with two NPs.
- Chemo-certified RNs handle inpatient chemotherapy administration.
- Onsite services include Radiation Oncology, Infusion Therapy, Lab and Pharmacy (with a board-certified oncology pharmacist), Genetic Counseling, Clinical & Financial Navigation, Nutrition Services, Clinical Trials, Tumor Registry, GYN-Oncology, and Social Work.
- The center boasts a robust general surgery program and specialty services such as ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Pulmonology, and GI.
- Hospitalist services handle admits; additional services include eConsults and eTumor Boards.
- Practices support autonomy with input into scheduling, volumes, and operations, emphasizing quality patient time and local decision-making.
- Leadership is invested and encourages team mentorship, with strong subspecialty support available.
- Open to submissions from 2024 graduates and experienced physicians; J-1, H-1B, and locum providers are not accepted.
- Organization:
- Salary ranges from $500,000 to $600,000 annually, based on experience, with additional RVU bonuses, loan and signing bonuses, relocation assistance, and CME stipends.
