Job Summary

Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Benign/Classical Hematologist.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Busy, non-malignant hematology practice located in Charlotte, NC.
• Affiliated with an Integrated Network Cancer Program, connected to the malignant hematology program.
• Strong referral base from primary care physicians and specialists within Novant Health.
• Clinical position with opportunities for research if desired.
• Staffed by one physician and three advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Excellent support from pathology, blood bank, radiology, ICU, and other specialties.
• Growth in the Cancer Institute, with a new multi-million dollar facility in uptown Charlotte.
• Investment in expanding hematology services, including benign and malignant hematology, stem cell transplant, cellular therapy, and integrative medicine.
• Includes an Adult Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) designation.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Board-certified or eligible in Hematology.
• Candidates with internal medicine certification and interest/experience in non-malignant blood disorders are encouraged to apply.
• Interest or experience in hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and bleeding disorders preferred.
