Seeking 2 Medical Oncologists - Northeast Ohio
Cancer Center is seeking 2 highly qualified medical oncologists - one general, focused on all disease types and one with an interest in sub-specializing in breast cancer - to serve Hospital's growing hematology and oncology services. Hospital recently opened a comprehensive cancer center, Family Cancer Center, in the summer of 2022. With the new Family Cancer Center currently open, there couldn’t be a more exciting time to be part of our organization!
The Cancer Center's dedicated team of professionals provides compassionate and personalized cancer care to our community, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and exceptional talent. The program diagnoses and treats over 1700 new cancer cases annually across the system and includes a comprehensive team of specialists such as hematology/oncology, gynecologic oncology, fellowship-trained breast surgeons, general surgeons, advanced plastic surgeons, urologists, thoracic surgeons, interventional oncologists, neurosurgeons, and palliative care providers.
Supportive services include nurse navigators, dietitians, social workers, and support groups. Our hospital offers the most comprehensive, dedicated cancer care to the County and surrounding areas. The program is accredited by the Commission on Cancer, the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, and the American College of Radiation Oncology. Additionally, our nationally recognized clinical trials department offers both cooperative and pharmaceutical research studies, with over 37 active clinical trials.
Established and new physicians are encouraged to apply. Board certification or eligibility in Oncology and Hematology is expected.
