Key Responsibilities :

Provide specialized care to patients with oncology and hematology conditions

Conduct patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, and analyze results

Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and other treatments as needed

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on oncology and hematology advancements and treatments

Offer patient and family counseling on cancer and hematologic conditions

Participate in clinical research and trials, if desired

Build strong relationships with patients and the surrounding community

Qualifications :

MD / DO degree from an accredited medical school

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Oncology / Hematology

Illinois medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)

Experience in Oncology / Hematology with a focus on compassionate care

Ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills
