Hematology / Oncology -Full-Time - Western Chicago Suburbs
Seeking an exceptional Board Eligible or Board Certified, Illinois Licensed Hematology / Oncology physician to join a nationally recognized cancer care team just outside of Chicago, IL, located at the first freestanding facility in Illinois to combine cancer research, diagnosis, treatment and prevention under one roof. This is an immediate opening due to physician retirement / relocation. The cancer center is part of with an award winning regional, academic health system based in Chicago's western suburbs. This is an inpatient / outpatient position combining clinic with a call rotation among 18 other physicians and 3 APPs. It will be evenly split between Hematology and Oncology. Volume of 8-20 patients on Outpatient days, and 8-16 patients inpatient. Utilizing EPIC EMR. Required procedures include administration of Chemotherapy-intrathecal with a nurse oncologist, Management of bone marrow transplants, ordering tests, interpreting images, and participation on a tumor board. Must be BE / BC, IL Licensed, and have BLS / ACLS Certifications.
