Job description

Seeking a BE/BC Hematologist Oncologist to join a growing multi-specialty group practice, which includes over 60 providers, with more than 20 in primary care.

1. Guaranteed salary for the first and second years; third year based on a productivity model with incentive bonuses.
2. Negotiable sign-on bonus.
3. Real estate bonus if purchased in Ashtabula County.
4. Relocation allowance.
5. Negotiable medical school loan repayment.
6. Visa processing fees covered (H1B considered).
7. Reasonable on-call schedule.

Salary is guaranteed based on years of post-training experience, with benefits incrementally added.

Infusion and Oncology Center

• Average of 35 new chemo patients per month (2020 data).
• Conducts approximately 210 chemo treatments per month.
• Staffed with 5 RNs, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
• Facilities include 15 treatment chairs and 6 exam rooms.
• Renovated in 2015, with a new on-site pharmacy.
• Approximately 20 inpatient consults and 10 new patients monthly.
• Bi-monthly tumor conference onsite (currently virtual).
• Offers oncology and hematology services with a consistent referral base.
• Affiliated with Taussig Cancer Institute, providing access to tumor resources from Cleveland Clinic.
• Radiation oncology services available onsite twice monthly (pre-COVID).

Services offered include:

• Hematology/Oncology: Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, portable infusion pumps, injections, therapeutic phlebotomy, infusion therapies, lab services for VAD patients, line care.
• Outpatient Services: IV antibiotics, infusional therapies across specialties, catheter care, VAD care, assistance with bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, specialty injectables, blood transfusions.

Located in a Lakefront community in Northeastern Ohio, less than an hour from Cleveland, OH, and Erie, PA; three hours to the Canadian border; four hours southwest of Toronto.
