Job description

Our hospital, in partnership with an Employed Hematology/Oncology Group, is seeking a BE/BC, full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician to join their established and stable team. The candidate will become part of a supportive medical community with administrative backing. The facility features onsite Radiation Oncology with TruBeam & SBRT capabilities. There is an active navigation program, an American Cancer Society Resource Room, and partnerships with non-profits. A robust local medical community supports this service.

Support:

The physician will join two additional Hematology/Oncology physicians and APPs. The APPs manage infusion services and see acute and symptomatic patients under the direct supervision of the physicians. The support staff includes APPs, RNs, dietary staff, navigators, schedulers, pre-certification and financial teams. The practice features a full-service infusion room and outpatient oncology services. Pharmacy services are managed by the hospital-based team, including an oncology-boarded pharmacist. The team also collaborates with specialists in Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Urology, OB/GYN, Pathology, and Radiology (including Interventional Radiology). There is also a strong primary care cohort with IM and FM residents.
