Hematology/Oncology Opening - Abingdon, VA

Located 40 miles to Kingsport

Support

The physician will join 2 additional Hematology/Oncology physicians and 3 APPs. The APPs handle infusion services, see acute and symptomatic patients, and work under physician supervision. A large support staff includes APPs, RNs, dietary staff, navigators, schedulers, pre-certification, and financial teams. The practice features a full-service infusion room and outpatient oncology services. Pharmacy is managed by the hospital-based team, including an oncology-boarded pharmacist. Support from specialists such as Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Urology, OB/GYN, Pathology, and Radiology (including IR). There is also a strong primary care cohort with IM and FM residents training.
