Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in Massachusetts. You will develop comprehensive care plans, perform exams, order tests, prescribe medications and coordinate with physicians to support patient health.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited NP program, Massachusetts licensure eligibility, current BLS, EMR proficiency, and on-call coverage on weekends/holidays as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Eligibility for or current Nurse Practitioner license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Must maintain BLS certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive health plan for patients and families.
Perform routine health examinations and medical histories.
Identify and manage specified acute illnesses and urgent care cases.
Monitor and manage chronic diseases and provide emergency care as needed.
Write prescriptions and medical orders, dispense samples, administer injections.
Utilize EMR for prescriptions and documentation.
Provide patient education on preventative health care.
