Job summary

City of Hope in California seeks dedicated registered nurses for the Hematology Unit delivering patient-centered care for blood cancers and supportive therapies. Night shifts 12 hours (7:00pm–7:30am) with chemotherapy administration, symptom management, patient and family education, and strong care coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current California RN license is required.
• Minimum of 1–3 years related experience.
• BLS CPR Card through American Heart Association.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate (Must be obtained within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment and monitoring for hematologic malignancies.
• Chemotherapy administration according to protocols.
• Symptom management including pain, nausea, anemia, and neutropenia.
• Patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans and self-management.
• Care coordination with multidisciplinary team across the treatment journey.
