Job summary

ADC Therapeutics America Inc is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to provide scientific information to healthcare professionals and support the company’s marketed product and pipeline. This field-based role will develop peer-level relationships at national, regional and local levels and gather field insights to inform medical affairs objectives.

The territory includes OH, KY, TN, VA, NC. Travel is approximately 50-60% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD or PhD) preferred.
• MSL experience required.
• Hematology/oncology experience preferred.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with industry leaders.
• Able to organize, prioritize and work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of PhRMA, OIG and other guidelines.
• Understanding of the clinical development process and ICH-GCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare professionals credible, balanced, scientific information about ADCT and its product, pipeline, research activities, and ADCT product development.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in the field.
• Develop territory plans to initiate and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Providers (HCPs).
• Maintain medical expertise and a strong understanding of hematology/oncology clinical practice.
• Cover sessions and collect insights at scientific congresses.
• Develop and demonstrate competencies in the understanding and communication of relevant scientific information, including disease state, therapeutic landscape, clinical data, mechanism of action for therapeutics agents, RWE.
• Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards and in accordance with the relevant guidelines.
• Collaborate with key functional leaders and project team members, building collegiate, compliant and successful teams.
• Ensure alignment across functions by working in partnership with key stakeholders.
