Job summary

Medexus Pharma seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL to engage healthcare professionals, researchers, and payors in hematology/oncology across the United States. The role emphasizes scientific exchange, data sharing, and partnerships with key opinion leaders to support Medexus’ pipeline in a compliant manner.

Location focuses on the territory including Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia, with travel about 80% (some weekends).

Qualifications

• Advanced medical/scientific degree required (MD, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA).
• 2+ years of MSL experience for the MSL level.
• 5+ years of MSL experience for the Senior MSL level.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology required.
• Bone Marrow Transplant experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge and/or experience of pharmaceuticals and/or life sciences.
• Knowledge of FDA, OIG, ICH, GCP, PhRMA Code, HIPAA and compliance regulations.
• Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, integrity, teamwork, and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary SME for Medexus Medical Affairs, NA.
• Develop relationships with KOLs and HCPs; foster advocacy and scientific exchange.
• Develop and execute territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies.
• Manage IIT submissions, reviews, approvals, and activation.
• Provide clinical insights to support product value and use.
• Provide clinical information to HCPs in response to requests.
• Contribute to medical education materials and internal training.
• Support speaker programs and medical meetings.
• Lead regional Advisory boards and National Advisory Boards.
• Maintain up-to-date disease state and data knowledge.
• Document field activities and expenses accurately.
• Support Market Access and commercial partners.
• Mentor new team members.
• Represent Medexus at conferences and professional meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
