Job summary

Hematology Oncology Associates of the Treasure Coast is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to support our Hematology/Oncology practice. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related life science.
• 2–5 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Active Florida Medical Laboratory Technologist license.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and automated instrumentation preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis.
• Ensure accuracy, precision, and timely reporting of laboratory results.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analyzers.
• Adhere to QC and QA protocols; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Enter, verify, and release results within the LIS.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to clarify orders and communicate critical values.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, processing, and integrity.
• Follow safety, infection control, and OSHA guidelines.
• Inventory and order laboratory and office supplies.
