Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related life science.
• Active Florida Medical Laboratory Technologist license.
• 2–5 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Experience with LIS and automated instrumentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of data privacy standards and healthcare regulations.
• Flexibility to accommodate extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex lab tests across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis.
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting of results.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Follow QC/QA protocols and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP).
• Enter, verify, and release results in LIS.
• Collaborate with clinicians to clarify orders and communicate results.
• Ensure proper specimen handling and safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies.
