Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Odessa campus seeks an oncology physician to provide outpatient care in Midland/Odessa clinics and inpatient care at community hospitals. Requires MD/DO, Internal Medicine residency, Hematology/Oncology fellowship (completed or in progress) and board eligibility. ECFMG if applicable.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required
• Residency in Internal Medicine completed
• Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology completed or in progress
• Board-eligibility in Hematology or Oncology
• ECFMG certification if foreign medical graduate

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical exams with review of medical history and tests
• Develop and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive care regimens
• Discuss diagnoses, testing, and treatment options with patients and families
• Coordinate care with community and regional partners
• Participate in quality improvement, teaching fellows/residents/students, and research opportunities
