Qualifications

• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy or Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certificate must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients with hematologic malignancies, including vital signs and treatment responses.
• Safely administer chemotherapy and systemic therapies per protocols.
• Assess and manage symptoms such as pain, fatigue, anemia, and neutropenia; provide supportive care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, side effects, and self-management.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate testing, appointments, and consultations for continuity of care.
