Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Hematology night shift technologist to join our Hematology team.

This full-time, third-shift position covers a range of tests including CBC with differential, urinalysis, blood bank, coagulation, RPR, and HbA1c. You will analyze and report results, act on corrective actions, and uphold safety, compliance, and quality control in a fast-paced lab handling PHI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology training.
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing.
• Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of hematology tests including CBC with differential, urinalysis, blood bank, coagulation, RPR, and HbA1c.
• Analyze, review, and report testing results.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
