Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is hiring a Hematology Night Shift Technologist for the third shift in our Hematology department.

The role covers a wide range of tests including CBC with differential, urinalysis, coagulation, and HbA1c, with emphasis on accuracy and patient care. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Medical Technology or a related field with MT training, 1 year of MT experience in high complexity testing, and ASCP certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Medical Technology or related science with MT training
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• ASCP certification or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Perform high or moderate complexity hematology testing
• Analyze, review and report test results
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions
• Work in a fast-paced lab with hazards
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality control
