Job summary

Sobi is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Northern California to serve as the field-based scientific expert across hematology/oncology and rare diseases. You will build relationships with HCPs, societies, and organizations, and support clinical development while traveling frequently.

Qualified candidates hold a life-science or medical doctorate and have 1+ year MSL experience in hematology/oncology.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in life-science or medical field (Pharm.D., D.Sc., D.N.P., Ph.D., or M.D./D.O.).
• Minimum 1 year MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease.
• Existing familiarity with the Northern California medical/scientific community.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to convey scientific information clearly.
• Ability to lead or influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field-based point of contact for Sobi Medical Affairs in the Northern California territory.
• Engage with key thought leaders and healthcare professionals to exchange scientific information.
• Report field intelligence including competitive insights and disease-state perspectives.
• Support clinical development and operations through site recommendations and initiation visits.
• Lead or participate in advisory board meetings at various levels.
• Deliver internal and external training on preclinical science and clinical data.
