Job summary

IQVIA Laboratories in Valencia, CA is seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) – Hematology to join our team. The role performs routine hematology testing, supports quality and compliance, and maintains equipment while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM. The candidate must hold a Medical Laboratory Technician license, have a relevant degree and regulatory experience, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a clinical lab science.
• 6 months of experience in a regulated lab.
• MLT license is required.
• Knowledge of GLP and regulatory standards.
• Experience with automation or specialized laboratory equipment.
• Lab safety and chemical handling knowledge.
• Equivalent combinations of education/experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document analytical testing procedures per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze data and compare results to quality and performance standards.
• Identify unusual results or deviations and escalate appropriately.
• Maintain, calibrate, and document laboratory equipment; support investigations.
• Prepare buffers, solutions, and materials for testing activities.
• Assist training and onboarding of lab personnel on routine procedures.
• Contribute to procedural updates and process improvements; manage inventory.
• Communicate clearly with lab and cross-functional teams while supporting safety and quality.
