Job summary

IQVIA Laboratories in Valencia, CA seeks a Lab Associate- Hematology to perform routine hematology testing and generate accurate analytical data in a fast-paced clinical trial environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; some CAP/CLIA locations may require a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology.
• Minimum 6 months relevant lab experience.
• Basic knowledge of GLP and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and terminology used in hematology.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine hematology analyses and document results per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate results using lab computer systems and verify data accuracy.
• Identify and escalate unusual results or discrepancies to senior staff.
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions for testing activities.
• Store samples and reagents following protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with housekeeping per 6S standards and safety requirements.
• Monitor inventory and notify staff of shortages.
• Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
