Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant I in Hematology. You will support patient care and clinical operations by greeting patients, documenting histories, taking vital signs, and preparing equipment for exams.

The ideal candidate: graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program or MA certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA); high school diploma with MA training and 5 years MA experience plus certification; strong interpersonal skills,

Competenze

• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program or has obtained a Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA).
• High school diploma or GED required; MA program graduate or MA training with 5 years MA experience and certification.
• Certification required if not a graduate of an accredited MA program.

Mansioni

• Greet and transport patients to exam rooms; document complaints, symptoms and history.
• Take vital signs and document medications, allergies, and smoking history.
• Input and retrieve clinical information in the HER; alert provider when ready.
• Support patient flow and prepare equipment as needed; assist with examinations.
