Job summary

Antech is seeking a Hematology Technician I to perform cytology accessioning, staining and laboratory testing. You will prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests and interpret results. Shift is 11:00pm–7:30am, Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays, with a target pay of $18.80 per hour.

Work closely with senior staff, ensure QA, and support lab efficiency. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (6 months hematology experience) or a science-oriented degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of experience as a Hematology Lab Aide or 2-,3-,4-year degree in science preferred.
• Strong laboratory skills with experience setting up, running and operating lab instruments.

Responsibilities

• Build CBC/UA loads, slide preparation and staining.
• Prepare blood smears and perform re-checks as directed.
• Monitor and reconcile pending, distribution list and complete the daily distribution email.
• Read, interpret and release results following SOPs and QA guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and restock supplies as needed.
