Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Hematology Technician I to perform cytology accessioning, staining, and laboratory testing. You will prepare samples, operate instruments, and read results under SOPs.

The role includes night shifts (11:00pm–7:30am, Mon–Fri with alternating Saturdays) and requires meticulous lab practices. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 6 months of hematology lab experience or a science degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 months Hematology Aide experience or 2–4 year science degree preferred.
• Laboratory skills to set up, run and operate lab instruments.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build CBC/UA loads, slide preparation and staining.
• Prepare blood smears and participate in quality control and instrument checks.
• Accession, label, and organize paperwork, slides, tubes, and jars.
• Follow SOPs, safety, and QA guidelines; maintain clean work area.
• Support senior staff and participate in special projects as needed.
