Job summary

LABTECH DIAGNOSTICS is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician (Hematology) to perform routine and specialized hematology testing. The role includes operating and maintaining hematology instrumentation, performing CBCs and differential analyses, documenting quality control, and adhering to HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or related field; CLIA High Complexity testing qualifications.
• OSHA category 1 tasks involving exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
• Proficient in computers and laboratory information systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized hematology testing per procedures.
• Complete CBCs, differentials, platelets, reticulocytes, and other hematology tests.
• Document QC, calibrations and reagent prep to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain and calibrate hematology instrumentation; troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Follow HIPAA and lab confidentiality; ensure PPE usage and safety protocols.
