Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology or Biological Science required.
• 3 years full time experience required for exceptional internal candidates, 5 or more years’ experience highly preferred and required by external applicants.
• ASCP certified generalist or categorical Technologist or equivalent accreditation required.
• Demonstrates autonomy, capability and capacity to lead multiple projects and assist with staffing needs under the direction of department leadership.

• Serves as a resource for assigned areas of expertise and provides technical support to staff.
• Oversees periodic review of quality control and instrumentation logs to ensure accuracy of test results.
• Demonstrates excellent skills at managing and directing workflow and reallocates resources as needed.
• Trains Medical Lab Scientists and Medical Lab Technicians; participates in training and competency procedures.
• Serves as liaison between Lab Support Services and technical departments and provides timely communications and resolution of problems to clients outside the labs.
• Provides leadership in the absence of Clinical Managers and contributes to performance evaluations.
