Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support the Classical/Non-Malignant Hematology Clinic at LCI Main. You will provide direct patient care and medication therapy management for non-malignant hematology conditions, including hemophilia and anemia.

This full-time role offers a 1st shift schedule, Monday–Friday with weekends rotating, and requires a PharmD or B.Pharm and state licensure. No prior oncology experience required, PGY-2 preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state(s) of practice or eligible for reciprocity required.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required based on area of practice.
• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school or NABP FPGEC certificate.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medications and adherence.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions.
• Participates in medical emergencies and safety/quality activities.
• Mentors pharmacy teammates and students as assigned.
