Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Clinical Scientist in New Jersey to lead end-to-end clinical program design, execution, and data interpretation. You will work with Medical Directors and cross-functional teams to shape study strategy and ensure rigorous scientific direction.

You will author and review protocols and study reports, drive data reviews for patient safety, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strict adherence to FDA/EMEA/ICH/GCP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Advanced degree (PhD/MD/PharmD/MSc) preferred.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical clinical drug development experience.
• Experience in rare hematologic conditions and/or immunologic diseases preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GCP, clinical study design, and clinical research methodology.
• Proven track record driving clinical trial process improvements.
• Strong scientific and analytical skills.
• Compliance with FDA, EMEA, ICH, and GCP standards across study activities.
• Right to work and educational qualifications may be verified through background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical study design, execution, and data interpretation across a full development program.
• Partner with Medical Directors and cross-functional teams to shape study strategy and scientific direction.
• Author and review protocols, amendments, clinical study reports, and other key clinical documents.
• Drive medical and safety data review throughout the trial lifecycle to protect patient safety.
• Apply therapeutic area knowledge to inform study design and risk mitigation.
• Represent Clinical Sciences in scientific advisory boards, steering committees, and safety monitoring meetings.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, EMEA, ICH, and GCP standards across study activities.
