Job summary

UNC Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Multiple Myeloma Program in Chapel Hill. The APP will contribute to care for patients with hematologic cancers in outpatient clinics and support hematology procedures across the system.

The ideal candidate possesses an accredited APRN/PA graduate program, NC licensure with board certification, and DEA. No prior experience is required. This full‑time position is onsite with standard 40‑hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate‑level APRN or PA program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina; board certification and DEA.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: obtain history, perform exams, develop diagnoses and treatment plans with follow‑up.
• Education: educate patients/families and contribute teaching materials.
• Leadership: provide instruction and participate in staff meetings and outreach programs.
• Professional: communicate effectively with patients and team while ensuring timely care.
• Quality/Research: participate in quality improvement and implement evidence‑based care.
