Hematologist/Oncologist

Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor

Division of Hematology and Oncology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center

The UCSF Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is seeking academic hematologists/oncologists to join the faculty at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG). Positions are available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X series. Academic rank and series will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications. Both part-time and full-time appointments will be considered.

Candidates should have demonstrated clinical expertise in the care of patients with solid tumors and/or hematologic disorders and a strong commitment to teaching. Opportunities are available to participate in clinical research, health services and outcomes research, implementation research, and other scholarly activities. Experience or a demonstrated interest in health equity, disparities, and outcomes research is particularly welcomed.

Clinical responsibilities will include outpatient hematology and oncology practice, attending on the inpatient hematology/oncology consultation service, and participation in the electronic consultation service. Faculty members will teach and mentor UCSF medical students, residents, Hematology-Oncology fellows, and advanced practice providers (APPs).

Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology and must possess or be eligible for a California medical license. Fluency in languages commonly spoken by the patients and communities served by ZSFG is desirable.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 . The minimum base salary range for this position is $136,500-$358,300. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
